Oil & Gas-Fired Furnaces
Furnaces are permanently installed to provide heat to an interior space. They produce high amounts of heat that feed into a ventilation system and flow throughout the connected rooms. All large appliances providing heat at some point need to be replaced. Our licensed technicians work to install and clean up debris. All natural gas and propane furnaces that we install are Coleman.
A gas furnace needs to have yearly maintenance, at a minimum. Even better is having it done in the spring and the fall. Maintenance at DM Solutions LLC includes an examination and cleaning of the parts that commonly malfunction, like the air filter, fan, pilot light, and heat exchanger. This way an issue doesn't become a problem. All furnaces should be maintained yearly if the fall. When combined with AC they would be serviced twice a year as in most situations; they are the blower system for your AC as well. Common malfunctions are flame sensors, ignition systems, pilot lights, heat exchangers, and more. Oil furnaces require extra attention every year for their nozzles and oil filters to be replaced as well as to have a proper combustion analysis done! We don’t want you to have a possibly preventable breakdown occur!
Oil & Gas-Fired Hot Water Boilers
Water Boilers need to be serviced once a year. If your hot water boiler is performing poorly, simple repairs can often set it back to full function. However, if the boiler is aging and inefficient compared to newer models, or fails, then a replacement may be needed.
At DM Solutions LLC we service and install all types of hot water boilers for your home. Service and repairs include cleaning and inspecting the heat exchanger of the boiler, check all wires and connections are intact, inspect condensate system, clean and flush the system as necessary. Yearly maintenance will keep your boiler running efficiently.
Steam Boilers should be serviced once a year. If your steam boiler is performing poorly, simple repairs can often set it back to full function.
Steam Boiler yearly maintenance includes checking that all connectors are secure, flushing the system, check the return lines and the boiler itself for leaks as well as checking and replacing vents as necessary. Our technicians will keep your steam boiler running smoothly.
Mini Splits
At DM Solutions LLC we service and install all types of mini-splits for your home. These are useful where ductwork cannot be extended, they allow you to heat specific rooms. Good as well in energy efficient homes that require a small space conditioning system We use Fujitsu products.
Heat Pumps
Installation and Maintenance of Heat Pumps
The purpose of a heat pump is to offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces. Some of the advantages of a heat pump are: Pumps the heat, uses less electricity, less maintenance, safer and lasts about 15 years. Like your refrigerator, heat pumps use electricity to move heat from a cool space to a warm space, making the cool space cooler and the warm space warmer. Most heat pumps can be utilized to heat all the way down to -15 degree outdoor temperature. It is recommended that professionals install the heat pump as in many homes the HVAC has to be dismantled first. The technicians at DM Solutions use Coleman products. Heat pumps should be checked regularly for leaks and any obstructions. During the summer, the cycle can be reversed and then the unit can act like an air conditioner.
